What we are
Our eye is not a sphere ,but consists of segments of two modified spheres ,one infront of the other.
Eye ball has 3 concentric layers.
Outer supporting layer containg transparent cornea ,opaque sclera and their junction limbus.
Middle vascular layer consisting uvea which includes Iris ,ciliary body and choroid
Inner neural layer is the RETINA composed of sensory portion and a layer of pigment epithelium.
